Let's face it. The bottom line to this question is that ultimately... women need women. Twenty years ago, I probably would not have agreed with that statement, but now, I am absolutely convinced of it.

Women have a unique calling and place in the body of Christ. In Titus 2:3-5 women are given the specific task of coming along side other women and sharing truth with them. That is what we do in women's ministry. We study together, pray together, laugh and cry together, help each other and strengthen our relationships with each other, our families and most importantly, our Lord.

Here are some of the benefits of Bible-based, Christ-led Women's Ministry to your church.

  • Unity - knitting the hearts of women together
  • Bible study - where the Word is, women grow
  • Fellowship - spending time sharing our lives
  • Fun - yep, women can be tons of fun!
  • Outreach - assisting organizations in your community
  • Service - women involved in wm typically serve in other areas of their church
  • Commitment - 80% of families choose to stay in a church that is selected by the wife/mother
  • Mentoring - older women can share into the lives of younger women
  • Encouragement - walking along our sisters strengthens our relationships with others
  • Leader Training - half of leaders trained in women's ministry will end up serving in another church ministry
  • Did I mention fun? There is joy in the Lord and in the unique relationships of women!
